Product Working Principle:

The equipment is often in steel making industry, by adding oxygen for removing the impurity in the steel.

The O₂ generator consists of the air compressor, refrigerator dryer, pre-filter, activated carbon tower, LIX molecular sieve tower, buffer tank and its electrical control cabinet. The LIX tower is the key component for absorbing N₂, CO₂ and water vapor in compressed air, so as to obtain high purity oxygen.Most of the pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen system apply the two tower process, The compressed air after passing through a refrigerated dryer is passed through a twin PSA tower interconnected with automatic changeover valves. Dried compressed air will now come in contact with the bed of Zeolite molecular sieves (ZMS). Zeolite Molecular Sieves are special grade of adsorbent which have the property of preferential adsorption of nitrogen molecules.At a time one tower remains under nitrogen production cycle, whereas the other tower undergoes renew process which is achieved through depressurization of the tower to atmospheric pressure. The outgoing oxygen gas is sent to a surge vessel where the minimum pressure will be maintained with the back pressure regulator.
